Australian Alpine Satellite Snow Map

Satellite imagery is the only genuinely observed view of what is over the mountains right now. Alpine Intelligence ingests Himawari-9 shortwave retrieval every ten minutes and uses it to correct the modelled cloud cover for elapsed hours.

The comparison below shows current cloud cover per resort. The interactive satellite view carries the full imagery with automatic selection of the newest usable, least obscured frame.
