Australian Ski Run Conditions
Run conditions are modelled per run, not per resort. Aspect, elevation, recent snowfall, rain, overnight refreeze and sun exposure combine into a predicted surface for each mapped trail.
The categories are the ones skiers actually use: powder, a little powder over a firm base, soft groomed, hard packed, refrozen crud, icy boilerplate and slushy spring snow.
